Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me Monday where I can be honest about things that have NOT happened to me. After you're finished reading head on over to Mckmama's blog and see what others are not doing as well.

This past week I did not join Weight Watchers. I am not having to start all over again after my recent pregnancy with Baby Starbuck. I did not do Weight Watchers after the birth of Frappucino, lose a bunch a weight, get pregnant with Baby Starbuck and gain it all back. I am also not so happy to have extra points since I am nursing Baby Starbuck full time. I did not try to go back now so I would have all those extra points.

On Thursday I did not find Frapuccinno playing with this. I keep it all put away and he should have no idea what to even do with it.

Friday we decided to go on a train ride to a restaurant we had found that we thought the boys would love. We were able to ride the train to the town, walk a block to the restaurant and eat there. While we were getting on the train Espresso did not shout out to all passengers, "All Aboard!" and then continue to say as loud as he can, "Watch Your Step!" The real conductor did not inform him that he actually doesn't say this anymore and all of the passengers did not chuckle at this dialog between the Two Conductors.

At the restaurant I did not order a burger and fries and really enjoy it.

I also did not allow the boys to have chocolate milk

followed by a train cupcake for dessert.
Frapuccinno did not break his cupcake into tiny pieces and proceed to load it into his train whistle that came on his cupcake.
This is NOT what happens when a baby has been in his car seat all day, riding on a train!!

Baby Starbuck did not want to sleep the rest of the weekend after being hauled all over the place on Friday.

To End our train weekend, Big Latte's grandma took us out for Mexican food at the old train depot in town. I most definitely did not have a Chimichanga for lunch at this restaurant. Why would I do that? I'm NOT doing Weight Watchers or anything!!

Did the Groundhog Really SEE His Shadow?

On February 2, 2009 Phil, the groundhog, did see his shadow and declared that there would be "6 More Weeks of Winter!". After a day like today, I'm not sure if he was seeing clearly. It reached 60 degrees and my boys were outside, writing with sidewalk chalk, playing on scooters, and going without winter coats! I am trying to avoid the weather forecast for the rest of the week and bask in the sun and warmth for one day and really believe that winter is behind us. I was even able to open a few windows and doors and let the fresh air, ok maybe it was a little stinky, in.
Frappuccino was totally stokked to be outside today. Don't even ask what he was trying to do in these pictures!!

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me Monday!! This blog carnival was created by Mckmama you can head over to her site to see what others have NOT been doing this past week and you see what I have to say as well.

Last week we went to the domes again to check out the trains and flowers. We had a really nice time.

My in-laws did not come and give us a much needed break after being cooped up for a couple of weeks. I was NOT so relieved when they said they would come up for the day and take us to the domes and get us a little lunch.

It seems like everytime we go somewhere Frappucino has shoe issues.

Two weeks ago when we went he did not take his shoes off three times in our process of getting ready. Last Thursday he was not walking around the house with his shoes on his hands while I was changing Baby Starbuck. I did not think that I should probably grab the shoes before I can't find them. The shoes did not end up disappearing and Frappucino did not end up wearing his church shoes to the domes.

It was totally fine because I was NOT trying to get what I call "the look" going for him, with his cute little converse. My mother in law and I did not look all over the house for those silly shoes and finally give up. Later that night as I was falling into bed, I did not find the missing shoes lodged into our bed. Frappucino had not put them there and covered them up. Once again, we never lose things in our home and our boys always put things where they belong!!

We did have a really fun time and I was able to capture this cute picture. Espresso and Frappucino are NOT totally arguing in this picture even though it looks like they are best friends!!

We finally all made it to church for the first time in a couple of weeks. During the process of us all getting ready to go, Espresso, was NOT crying and throwing a huge fit because he didn't want to eat his cereal. We were NOT on the edge of just having him stay home with me and Baby Starbuck. Finally, at the last minute he ate his breakfast and got ready to go. I did NOT wonder why do we even do this. He is always this cute and smiley and does NOT throw tantrums because he is such an old and mature 4 year old!!

Once we did make it to church I was a little uneasy about putting Baby Starbuck in the nursery. He has been fighting a cough and cold and I was concerned that if I put him in there he might cause others to get sick and that someone might make him more sick with something they had. The Big Latte convinced me that it was ok and that I would be able to listen in church if I just put him in the nursery, so I did. I did NOT about die when I came to pick him up and the nursery worker said, "I think he has a stinky diaper but I HAVE A COLD so I can't smell him," as she was putting her nose up to his sleeper. I tried to remain calm and nice and I did NOT consider just taking him out of there at that instant!! I am NOT a sick a phobic (if that's even a phrase) and I never get a little freaked out by other people being sick around my kids. Nope NOT ME!!

Animals on Parade

We have been really stuck in our house for the last couple of weeks due to everyone being sick. I think all of us are getting a little stir crazy. Yesterday, Espresso came up with the idea of having a parade which I thought was fantastic.

He put all of his animals in buckets, tied them together and pulled them up and down the hallway. He even decided to pull Frappucino for awhile too. At one point he started throwing out "candy" which was really a toy fish. We had to end the parade when Espresso started hitting Frappucino, who was supposedly a clown, with a balloon.

Not Me Monday

Boy do I have a list of things to write about for my Not Me Monday post. Go ahead and enjoy all of the things that did not happen in our household this past week and if that's not enough head on over to MckMama's site and check out other's as well.

I did not have 3 children sick this past week. I did not take Frappucino to the Dr. Wednesday night at 6 pm to find out that he had an ear infection. He has not been a total grouch all week because of this. This whole post could be all about him but instead I will tell you about how the Big Latte did not take Espresso to the Dr. Saturday morning because he was up coughing all Friday night. The Dr. did not then send the Big Latte and Espresso out to our Children's Hospital for a chest x-ray. They did not discover that Espresso had a partially collapsed lung and they did not tell us that his symptoms would get worse before they got better.

After finding all this out about Espresso I did not allow him to still go to a birthday party Saturday afternoon that he had been excited about for the whole week. It was not a Spiderman party that I personally don't care for and Espresso has not been obsessed with all Super Heroes ever since Saturday. Tonight he did not refer to the Villains as Dillains because he knows all about this stuff. I did not feel a little bad for him at this party because he did not know anything about the Heroes vs. Villains like his friend did. I was also not a little nervous when all of the boys at this party started to wrestle. I did not grow up in a family with just one sister and I totally understand how boys are!!

Today Espresso did not inform me he was ready to go to work and come out dressed like his daddy. He does not totally look up to his daddy and try to be just like him. He does not look totally miserable in this picture because he is on the edge of having pneumonia. Nope we are totally healthy and would love to stay in our home for another week without going out to do something.

In other Not Me News. Frappucino did not turn his carrot and orange slice into flag pole art and leave this piece of art on his highchair. This is not a sign that your child is totally done eating and not feeling too great.

Frappucino's nose has not been running constantly all week. We have not ran out of Kleenex and
finally resorted to using toilet paper. Frappucino has not been helping himself to his own toilet paper to wipe his own nose. On Sunday, Frappucino, did not come walking out with a whole roll of toilet paper unrolled while I was feeding Baby Starbuck. I did not totally start laughing at this and think everything was fine. After finishing with Baby Starbuck I did not go into the bathroom to find that not only had Frappucino unrolled a whole roll of toilet paper but he had also taken a whole roll of paper towels apart sheet by sheet and placed it in the toilet. I did not put a child lock on the door, close it, and leave it until Big Latte got home from a meeting he was at. I totally cleaned it up myself and did not leave it for my husband to do. What wife would leave such a mess for her spouse to clean up. Not me.
Finally, Frappucino did not come up to me this week and show me this and say:
"Sir Topham Hat Go Poo Poo"
